This is one of the last fillies by the super successful stallion Hinchinbrook. A full sister to Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes winner Aliferous, she is an even better type than her Stakes winning siblings. Hinchinbrook is a top sire of classy fillies, which include the Group 1 winning juvenile Seabrook and Group 2 winner Whispering Brook.
"Training for Star Thoroughbreds is a delightful experience. From entry point through to a young horse's race career right up until his or her retirement, the Star team have a very well thought out system to look after their clients’ investment and the horse equally. Training for Star is a common sense approach where the horse comes first; we do the right thing by them and the investor continues to enjoy their involvement with us with anticipation of success on the racetrack, whilst creating new friendships with their racing partners. Denise and her team ensure that racing with Star is absolutely a 5 star experience."- Chris Waller
Hinchinbrook had a rapid rise as a young stallion, becoming Australia’s champion first season sire of 2014-15. The sadly ill-fated young sire has continued to develop his esteemed reputation by producing top tier progeny with 14 individual Stakes winners, including Group 1 horses Press Statement and Seabrook, as well as high-class mare Whispering Brook.
This filly is out of Willow, an unraced mare by the highly regarded American stallion, Woodman. This filly is a full sister to Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes winner Aliferous (pictured) and a half-sister to Stakes winners Ulundi and Durnford. Her damsire Woodman was a leading American juvenile sire.
Tatura’s Rushton Park has been building its reputation as a premier breeding ground for future champions with an impressive graduate record including Stakes performers Avon River, Mr Money Bags and Mystery Love.
