This stunning chestnut colt is by Deep Field, Newgate Farm’s exciting young sire. A Group 2-winning sprinter, he descends from the powerful stallion making family which has produced Commands, Danewin, Mossman and Kaapstad. Deep Field is currently Australia’s Leading Second Crop Sire (Winners) and with the likes of Cosmic Force (Group 2 and Group 3 winner), Dig Deep (Group 2 winner) and 2019 Melbourne Spring Carnival Stakes Winner Xilong, the future looks bright.
This colt is the first foal out of I Got Trix, who is by the freakish stallion I Am Invincible (pictured), who recently made history by siring an Australian record 28 individual stakes winners in a season, beating the previous record of 26 held jointly by Danehill and Snitzel. Before she raced I Got Trix showed enormous potential winning a Rosehill Barrier Trial by 9 lengths (fastest time of the day), however, a track accident at Warwick Farm one morning left her with injuries which were to restrict her racing career.
